Ascot Appoints James Lee as President of Leadline Capital Partners^™

NEW YORK — July 23, 2026— Ascot Group Limited (“Ascot”), a global specialty (re)insurance company, today announced that James Lee has been appointed President of Leadline Capital Partners^TM, Ascot’s dedicated third-party capital management platform. He will be based in the company’s Stamford, CT office, reporting to Marc Amen, CEO, North America.

Building on the platform’s strong foundation and growth trajectory, James will oversee the strategic direction and market development of Leadline Capital Partners^TM, while also leading the company’s insurance-linked securities (ILS) initiatives and global capital raising and investor engagement efforts.

James brings to the role more than 20 years of specialized capital markets and ILS experience originating, structuring and placing risk transfer and financing solutions for P&C insurers and reinsurers.

Most recently, he served as EVP, Managing Director – Capital Markets at Aspen Insurance Holdings/Sompo International, where he played a key role in sourcing significant capital to support Aspen’s insurance and reinsurance business lines. Earlier, he spent eight years at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Insurance Solutions Group, where he was responsible for the structuring and execution of natural catastrophe bond and sidecar transactions and providing capital and risk management advice to insurance clients.
