Ascot Appoints Ian Lowe Head of Bermuda Property Treaty

Hamilton, Bermuda, April 6, 2026 – Ascot Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Lowe as Head of Bermuda Property Treaty. He will report to Marc Amen, CEO of North America and Interim CEO of Ascot Bermuda.

In this role, Ian will lead Ascot’s established Bermuda Property Treaty reinsurance platform, building on its strong market position and helping drive continued performance and consistency. He succeeds Simon Kimberley, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities.

“Ian is a proven leader within Ascot with a deep understanding of the Bermuda reinsurance market. He brings continuity, extensive experience, and trusted relationships to the role and will continue delivering for our clients in this important segment,” said Marc Amen.

Ian has more than 20 years of experience in the property/casualty treaty markets. Prior to joining Ascot in 2017, he held treaty reinsurance leadership roles at Willis Re and Guy Carpenter in London.
